How it works

XERF, from Cynosure Lutronic, delivers monopolar radiofrequency at two frequencies, 2 MHz and 6.78 MHz. Different frequencies interact with tissue differently, and in general lower frequencies penetrate deeper while higher ones heat more superficially. By combining them, the device is designed to warm several layers in one session, aiming at collagen tightening and gradual remodeling in both the dermis and deeper support tissue.
