How it works

truSculpt, made by Cutera, is a monopolar radiofrequency body contouring system. Radiofrequency energy heats the tissue beneath the skin, including the fat layer, to a controlled temperature, while a handpiece monitors skin temperature. Heat is intended to damage some fat cells, which the body gradually clears, and to firm the overlying skin. Treatment is applied to a defined area in a series of mapped passes.
